“Let the spirit out - Discard all thoughts of reward, all hopes of praise and fears of blame, all awareness of one's bodily self. And, finally closing the avenues of sense perception, let the spirit out, as it will.”

— Bruce Lee (1940 to 1973)

When it comes to written or spoken words to matters of the spirit, it almost feels hypocritical, misleading, or even futile, though if thoughts of and on the spirit are not expressed, human being’s run the risk of falling victim to the enticements of the material world; the power of the intellectual mind is beneficial in that it helps to provide information to our state of existence, yet if left to its own devices, it threatens to trap our spirit in a body of matter that can become a prison of mental limitation. This self restricting prison can then create a tragic life where the miracle of our essential nature is never expressed….and a dull life replaces what could be a wonder-filled one. Words are often how we communicate, yet they can also be a rigid trap for true expression. When definitions and labels imprison the essence of what is being conveyed, the meaning of life gets muddled….the physical body is like a defined words, yet the spiritual essence seeks to circulate and permeate all matter in order to animate the objects with life.
